By taking over the distribution of all partwork titles from the publisher Eaglemoss, VU Verlagsunion has once again succeeded in expanding its range of services. Partworks are collectors’ magazines, some of which consist of more than 100 issues, that are launched with a very large advertising budget.
VU Verlagsunion’s distribution measures are proving to be successful: sales figures are very looking promising for the new DeLorean launch, even after more than ten issues.
All areas of VU Verlagsunion, from scheduling to sales representatives, market observation to team business intelligence, work hand in hand in order to develop the best distribution strategies for each of Eaglemoss’ partwork series. The highest level of market transparency can be achieved through in-depth exchange with business partners as well as the use of new distribution analysis tools.
Market testing is an important part of collaboration, in which marketing tools, such as displays, posters and other specials especially developed for collectors’ items, are used.
